We hired Jake to assemble a large outdoor pergola. Jake was on time, did the job excellently, and cleaned everything up afterwards. I'd hire Jake again!

Jake Hanenberg helped me refresh my apartment decor. He did a variety of carpentry projects and painted. Never in all my experience have I met a more responsible, generous, pleasant, neat, talented, honest worker. I recommended him to many friends who all had the same experience with him. We were bereft when he decided to move from NY to CA. Anyone who gets to work with Jake is lucky indeed. In fact, I gave up buying a new apartment because Jake was no longer available to me.

I had a number of projects that needed to get assembled and built from scratch and Jake was able to complete all projects above my expectations. I needed to get a pantry built and Jake had great ideas on the best way to go about it. Would hire again!

Jake has painted or repaired something in pretty much every room we have. He painted three bedrooms, installed our kitchen vent through our roof, fixed a hole in the wall of of our bathroom, repaired our front gate and fixed other things around our house. We couldn't be happier with his work! He is very professional and responsive. The whole experience of working with him has been great. I would recommend Jake without any reservations.

Jake has done work for us on and off for 10 years. He created beautiful custom millwork for our home as well as built incredible furniture from reclaimed wood. His workmanship is superb and he works in a timely fashion with realistic price quotes. We were sad to see him move to the West Coast, as now we have lost our go-to carpenter.
