I hired Nick to design some custom cabinets for my music studio with lots of specificities. He engaged all of my concerns and brought up additional things for me to consider which proved useful in the final design. His work was impeccable - I got serious value for the cost. Everything was done with such care that I never felt worried that I had to watch the work as I sometimes do. I have people come over to the studio all the time and the cabinets always get compliments! I'm super happy that I was able to connect with him and have him build these for me. Next up is a walnut side table.

Hired Nick to build and install a large 13 foot floating shelf. The install went very smoothly and the shelf is beautiful. The stain matches my floors and really ties the whole kitchen together. He’s was also very punctual; I didn’t feel like any time was wasted.

I contacted NIK about making me a Murphy bed and desk for my apartment. I have always dreamed of having one and having one that didn't look like garbage from a weird site online that is delivering from Montana or Costco. They are always so expensive and don't have the aesthetic I need. The ones that do look like what I want cost 20k. I wanted a Scandinavian modern clean look and he got it right away. He added beautiful touches with soft edges because I always run into things. He gave it a light lacquer on top which really is a beautiful touch. The Murphy bed covers this weird dutch door in the guest room and you would never know it's there. He fit it in perfectly and did it with a limited amount of time. What I love about NIK is his natural creative touch that he brings to wood working. His style is elevated and more than I see from other contractors/wood workers. They usually have the skills but not the eye. His design eye makes working with him a joy and to top it off, he responds! I have been ghosted by one too many. It doesn't hurt he has an English accent either.
