- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always have some sort of consultation with my clients to ensure we are on the same page. I always gauge what they are envisioning for themselves. Then assess the "must haves" and the "must nots" that they prefer to make them feel their most beautiful. Most importantly I make it my aim to keep the environment relaxed and fun.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a licensed esthetician in 3 states. I have been trained in esthetics, makeup application and paramedical skin care.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Although my professional career began 13 years ago, the passion & desire started over 20 years ago as a young girl looking at fashion runway shows. At first look I knew I wanted to be in the fashion industry in some capacity. When I stumbled upon my first Kevyn Aucoin book I instantly knew makeup was meant for me. I immediately took all the makeup my mother owned, recreated every look from Face Forward and the rest is history.
