FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start by getting to know the student—their musical background, goals, favorite music, and learning style. For beginners, we focus on building strong fundamentals: reading music, rhythm, technique, ear training, and developing good practice habits. For intermediate and advanced students, lessons can include more challenging repertoire, interpretation, music theory, improvisation, and even composition. Every lesson is tailored to the individual student. Some students enjoy a structured curriculum and exam preparation, while others are more interested in creativity and exploring different musical styles. My goal is to make learning both rewarding and enjoyable.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been playing piano for over 25 years and have more than 10 years of experience teaching and tutoring piano and music theory to students of all ages and levels. I hold a Bachelor of Music in Music Theory and Composition with a concentration in Screen Scoring from New York University and a Master of Fine Arts in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago. I also studied composition in Paris at L’École Normale de Musique de Paris and electronic music at IRCAM, one of the world’s leading institutes for music and technology.
