What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I've got two rooms available. Room A, my main mixing room, is excellent for vocals and bands (3-5 people) and is a fantastic deal at only $75/hr.
Room B, the big room in the pictures where I'm sitting on the drums, is perfect for large projects that need a lot of space. It comes with its own private bathroom with an area to dress in so you can really feel like a star. It has a rental minimum of 8 hours and is $150 an hour.
And! Both rooms include me there to engineer and mix the sessions (or, really whatever is needed).
Both of these rooms are very popular so make sure to get in contact with me to check on their availability.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Since music is an extension of the person, I like to have a little chat with them about the music that they are looking to record. This way I can get to know them and, therefore, know their music better so that I can be a partner in creating the sounds in their head. So, yeah - basically I start off by attempting to read their mind.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started learning drums at 9 with a private teacher, went to music school at 20, and from there I never quit.
