La Yarda is personal to me—it’s named after the family lot where my dad started his construction work, and now it’s where I’m building my own path. Every piece I make comes with that same pride, patience, and hands-on care that I grew up around.
What makes my work different is that I mix craftsmanship with art. I have a background in sculpture and design, so when I build something, I’m thinking about how it feels, how it fits, and how it tells a story. I like working with reclaimed and sustainable materials, giving old wood a new life with a modern look.

Jairo is an amazing carpenter that I highly recommend to remodel your home or for any handyman work around your home. I had purchased a really bad fixer upper and he did exceptional work in dry walling, installing kitchen cabinets, new windows, and new flooring. He did a remarkable job in refurbishing the wood for the bathroom and hallway closets. He also built beautiful all wood pergolas for my front and back yard. He’s trustworthy, professional, responsive and has great pricing.
