I hired elegant and modern events for a dessert/candy table as well they’re florist services and man did they deliver! Michelle & Eimee really took my vision and brought it to life beyond my expectations. Their day of event coordination services were great and I would highly recommend them. I hired Elegant and Modern for day-of coordination services. The few weeks leading up to the wedding, I had a difficult time getting ahold of anyone. Once I did, they spent so much time trying to sort through "issues" they were afraid might come up, rather than asking questions about needs for the day or allowing me to talk through the day of to make sure details were clear. They would talk over me even as I tried to explain that certain concerns weren't necessary because I had already considered it in my own planning. I ended up feeling that I needed to provide them with a clearly detailed plan for the day of just to be sure they understood what all I needed done because I wasn't ever able to talk through it with them on the phone. Professionalism was slightly lacking as every call I had with them was punctuated by children screaming in the background. I'm sympathetic to working parents, but since I only had a few minutes on the phone to go over the entire wedding, it would have been helpful and more comforting if I knew they were fully invested in our conversation. In the end, however, they proved punctual on the day of and did a decent job coordinating the event and making sure guests and vendors knew where to go as well as making sure the things I needed done got done. There were a few issues (nothing major), however, that could have been eliminated had I been able to spend more time going over the details for the day of. I would have given 4 stars for the coordinating if they had been more professional and helpful in the planning phase and spent more time leading up to the wedding going over the details of what I needed help with on the day of.Jun 27, 2017VerifiedElegant and Modern Events's reply

E&M Designs run an event planning service and I hired them to provide the flowers and cake at my wedding. Working with them was very easy, they were available via text, phone and email and responses were prompt. I chose them because I was on a very tight budget and they gave me a significantly lower quote than any other vendors I contacted - for the level of service they provide I thought the price exceptionally reasonable! The flowers were delivered in great condition and looked exactly as discussed; however the highlight was the cake. Eimee made me a 3 tier lemon wedding cake that was both beautiful and delicious! I hired Michelle an Eimee from Elegant and Modern Events for my small wedding. I was on a tight budget and they gave me a quote that seemed reasonable. During the wedding planning Michelle and Eimee were very professional, answering tons of my emails and questions. They were always fast to answer and very polite and understanding. We met at the reception venue to go through the details and I couldn't help, but notice how nice, friendly and easy to talk they are! During the meeting Michelle and Eimee gave me some valid suggestions and also offered to help with rentals, which saved me a lot of headache. They sent me the options of possible flowers and allowed me to pick what designs I like the most. I wanted something simple, but cute, and their design matched my expectations very well! We met one more time to go over the details and they brought me some samples that I absolutely loved! While being busy at work and being unable to do as many DIY projects as I originally intended, I kept adjusting the order and add more and more stuff, but Michelle and Eimee were very understanding and had everything ready by the day of the wedding. What I loved the most about working with them is that they were able to set up 2 different wedding sites at the same time, since they were 2 of them! They also promptly transferred some of the decoration from the ceremony to the reception site and quickly set it up before the guests showed up! Honestly, when I saw all the decorations and flowers set up, I was shocked how nice it looked. I also got a lot of compliments on the bouquets and centerpieces. By the end of the wedding they were all taken by the guests! I can't thank them enough for making my wedding so relaxing and feel very well taken care of!
