FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is hourly, including the initial consultation. After assessing your space, I will give you an estimate of hours so you know to expect.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually start with the initial consultation. In that consultation, I'll do an interview with you about what you'd like your space to look like and how you'd like it to function. Then, if you need a floor plan, I'll take the measurements on site and draw them up on a computer later on. That plan then becomes the jumping off point for shopping! I'll look for any furniture, art or accessories you might need and then I'll put those on a design board for you to see and approve. All the items that you approve of will go onto an itemized invoice. You don't have to pay for anything that you don't want to! I'll always be mindful of your budget and shop within those parameters. Paying for an invoice is essentially approving those items at those prices. Then those items that you bought will be installed in your space and voila! Transformation :)
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a degree in interior architecture from UCLA and Cal Poly Pomona
