Introduction: Bruce J. Levitz oversees the operation of The Levitz Legal Group, which specializes in personal injury and workers' compensation matters. He founded LLG in 1984 and has focused exclusively on representing seriously injured parties. Mr. Levitz gained his trial skills through litigating hundreds of cases and learning from the best mentors in the industry. LLG utilizes the latest computer technologies and legal research tools to apply to the client's case. LLG takes a team approach to handling complex personal injury cases by forming an association with exceptional personal injury law firms in handling the client's matter. It is Mr. Levitz's philosophy is that the client will receive the greatest outcome by having a consortium of experienced trial lawyers, legal scholars, and financial resources at the client's disposal. Mr. Levitz is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers, the association of Trial Lawyers of America, and the State Bar of California. Mr. Levitz is also a licensed real estate broker with the California Department of Real Estate. Mr. Levitz regularly publishes articles pertaining to a variety of legal issues, including workers' compensation and personal injury. In 1979, Mr. Levitz received his bachelor's degree from the University of Chicago and his Juris doctorate degree from Golden Gate University School of Law in 1982. He became a member of the State Bar of California in June 1983. Mr. Levitz was born in Chicago, Illinois in 1954. He was one of four athletes to be given a judo scholarship to Kyonggi College in Korea to train as a US Olympic candidate. In his free time, he enjoys martial arts, cooking, running, bicycling, weightlifting and hiking.
