Introduction: Whenever possible I like to combine my fine art background with my commercial work and bring a creative and innovative twist to the project. I've been photographing both product and people in my studio and on location for the past 8 years. I have been showing my fine art photography in museums and galleries for the past 15 years. I have a Masters in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute, where I have also taught a young artist program. I have experience teaching photography and Photoshop at various institutions within the Bay Area including art schools and community centers. I teach both youth and adult classes; one of my strengths is patience and the ability to adapt to my individual student's skill level and pace of learning. Due to the nature of my work I get the great pleasure of working with an ever changing team of creative directors, stylists, models and small business owners. Every shoot has it's unique challenges that I like to master by shedding some innovative light on the task at hand. To me it is most rewarding to see a concept come to life in the final photograph.

Nadim taught me the fundamentals of Photoshop with enthusiasm, patience, and true know-how. I found that a one-on-one with Nadim is much more effective than attending a Photoshop class where everyone is at a different level.

My dad and I had two private photography lessons with Nadim. He is GREAT! We learned about how to take our camera out of "automatic" mode and adjust settings ourselves. My photographs have improved tremendously. We also learned about composition and a little about photo editing. Nadim is knowledgeable, kind and flexible. I highly recommend him!

Nadim is such a great instructor for photoshop. I had to work on a project by using photoshop. Since I haven't used photoshop for over a year, I needed someone to help me to refresh my memory. We spent about a few hours together. He showed me a lot of the useful shortcuts as well as main functions of each tool. After that, I felt I learned so much within the few hour & I could complete projects on my own now.

I've been struggling alone with photoshop and given lessons by friends who didn't quite understand how to use the program. Nadim is perceptive, artistic, enthusiastic yet knows not only to show the wonders of photoshop but to create a system with you that allows you to use it yourself. Don't bother spending money on books. Spend some, not very expensive, time with him. You get what you wanted and entry into much more access to beauty.
