Introduction: Thank you for visiting my profile. I am an orthopedically trained bodyworker with over 1200 educational hours. The work I do is health care. It is assessment based and results focused. I specialize in injury prevention and rehabilitation, chronic pain management and improved joint function. The modalities I use in our sessions are chosen to address the primary complaints we identify. These include: Fascial Stretch Therapy™, compressive deep tissue, and Manual Lymphatic Drainage. My work can be incredibly light or deep depending on what is required, but I always work within your pain tolerance. At times I may ask for your active participation with a technique to increase its effectiveness. Please note I am not a recreational massage provider. I may use relaxation techniques as indicated for your particular situation on the day of your appointment. However, I do not schedule relaxation focused sessions as a general practice. I have very limited availability for on-site (in-home) appointments. These are reserved exclusively for clients with medical conditions that prohibit them from being able to travel to receive treatment. My booking hours are Tuesday-Thursday from 10am-7pm (last start time). New clients will be sent an electronic intake form to the email address they provide. Payment for your session is handled through electronic invoice also sent via email prior to your session.

Massage Therapy

Sam has created something unique in her approach to massage therapy. In particular, she makes your body feel better connected through a combination of targeted stretching and elongating the muscles.

Massage Therapy

For what it’s worth I’m a massage therapist who has been through quite a few professionals here in California without finding the ‘right’ one. I finally have found her! :) Sam was absolutely amazing and really worked on my actual issues. Many times you’ll get a mediocre therapist who will do the generic massage therapist things and hit some sore spots and that’s it. I could tell that Sam knew what she was doing and was approaching my multitude of issues from a professional and skilled manner. I have a lot of issues from my time in the Marines, and unfortunately the VA has made things worse through the years. Sam was able to attack my issues and get me back to feeling somewhat normal after YEARS of not being able to find someone to do it properly. If you’re looking for a professional and a REAL massage therapist, Here you go! From the comfortable and inviting massage room she has set up with decorations and body charts, to the genuine feeling of comfort she gives by asking thorough questions and finding out what’s really going on, this is a great pick! You won’t be disappointed!

Massage Therapy

Sam was great. To begin with she was extremely prompt to respond to my request on Thumbtack. She was also very flexible about scheduling the appointment and worked around my schedule. With regards to the massage, she was very thorough and detailed with her questions regarding my problem areas. I felt a lot better after her massage therapy. She focused on my problem area and ensure she worked within my comfort zone. I would definitely recommend her!

Massage Therapy

First visit with Sam at Impress Bodywork. I was very impressed. Very knowledgeable and skilled in meeting my needs for endurance training. After two years of searching for an outstanding massage therapist, I found one. Will be going back. She helped me to understand more about musculature and fascia related to repetitive use. Excellent!
