I don't know what's better; going on vacation or going on a weekend get away where everything is planned out for you down to what to pack and what the snacks will me when we get there. Gia planned the most perfect weekend get away for a mom-to-be and her besties. The days were filled with coffee and charcuterie and so much laughter. We took a guided tour of the cutest downtown with planned excursions - honey tasting (delicious), overflowing lattes (need to move here!), and walking distance to an outdoor book store (say less!). Although you can't control the weather, the rain did not get us down because it made the cozy vibes that much better. We loved the tour of Ojai and exploring the town but we also made so many memories bedazzling baby books for our friend. I am still on the hook to finish bedazzling a dragon! Gia had the most wonderful experiences planned for my friends and we felt so at home throughout our weekend in Ojai.

Gia helped me host my sisters 50th Birthday celebration! Her expertise and presence made it into a beautifully decorated, warm, and welcoming event from start to finish. She thoughtfully curated every detail of the dcor and event space, provided linens, decorative supplies, themed accents, and styling elements that completely elevated the atmosphere. Gia brought stunning home-grown hydrangeas, eucalyptus, and created fresh citrus-themed floral arrangements and centerpieces, and she beautifully styled the food and gathering areas so the party felt fun and cohesive (in an oversized space!).Beyond the dcor, Gia played an essential role in making the entire party run seamlessly. She provided a music playlist, speaker/amp and microphone setup for games and presentations, and helped greet and serve guests throughout the event. Her creativity, and calm and welcoming presence along with her attention to detail helped everyone truly enjoy the celebration (and I didnt have to worry about the logistics!).Gia also created a lovely custom made-to-order lemon pound cake with delicate floral accents and macarons that tied perfectly into the event theme.What truly stood out was the care, creativity, and expertise she brought to every aspect of the party experience. Gia takes the time to truly understand the celebrants and families she works with and beautifully brings their vision to life. I would not host another special event without her help and expertise!

Our brother passed away suddenly and we had no idea what to do. Gia and Joanna came in like true angels to help us manage one of the most difficult times in our lives. We sat with Gia, shared about our brother and family, and she helped guide us toward a memorial that was beautiful and just what was right for our family. Logistically, we felt so supported in the event planning portion of the memorial. They saw our vision & taste and implemented it beautifully and with so much care. Emotionally, they learned about our family and ensured we felt emotionally supported in all the ways you don't even know you need. Our family, though we hated we had to have a memorial, felt the ceremony was exactly what we'd needed and envisioned during this incredibly difficult loss. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our base pricing for celebrant services is $800 for local services and includes consultation and rehearsal as well as the day of service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I give free initial consultation to make sure my services are a match, then once we agree to work together we schedule consultations to plan the service and ensure we are set for rehearsal (if needed) and a flawless ceremony or celebration.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an ordained minister (non-religious / non-denominationa) by Universal Life Church and a certified funeral celebrant from Global Ministries Universities.
