Duane knows his stuff. Thanks for patching the hole in the wall matching the exterior texture and making the wall whole again.

The experience we had with Antique Plastering on our stucco project was truly second to none. From the inception of the project to completion, Owner Duane Seltzer delivered on every promise. He made the entire experience pleasant, efficient and easy to understand. I was worried because his quote was much better than a previous quote but in this case I received excellent quality at a good price. Our project was a little different than most. We needed someone to remove wood from the front of our house and replace with stucco to match the rest of the house. This was not an easy task as he would have to connect the new stucco in four places to the old stucco that our builder used on the rest of the house. Duane and his workers removed the old wood in less than a day. They had all the debris cleaned up and made sure there were no nails or anything dangerous left in the yard and driveway that could injure us or puncture a car tire. By the next day he had the exposed area completely lathed and ready for city inspection. It passed with no problem. After they finished the scratch and brown coat he had me water the entire area from top to bottom twice a day to keep the moisture level up which in turn strengthens the brown coat. I was very worried about the replacement window I had previously installed in the front of my house as a different contractor told me I would have to replace again because it would leak if he attempted to stucco around what I had. Duane told me this was not true, he was able to completely seal the window and guaranteed it would not leak after he finished. As I watered, I completely soaked above and around the window so I could be confident it was sealed and it is definitely leak proof. Duane advised us to let the brown coat harden for a few weeks so any cracks that naturally occur would not be visible in the finish coat. When he came back to put on the finish coat, he tinted the stucco to look like the rest of the house. He also perfectly installed a medallion that we special ordered. The results are fantastic, even better than we could have imagined. He not only blended the new stucco with the old stucco but he perfectly matched the texture so our home now looks like it was always 100% stucco. I can honestly say that Duane and his staff are true professionals. They do quality work from start to finish, they clean and organize as they work and he has excellent communication skills, which made us feel comfortable throughout the project. I highly recommend Antique Plastering for any stucco project, big or small.
