FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I quote my project based on square footage and complexity. My quotations usually include labor, travel expenses and material costs. Payment terms are available.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A walkthrough appointment would be set up to look at the walls first hand, see if there are any patches or repairs needed to be done, also look at the lighting on the walls, listen and understand clents' needs and scope of the project. From this point on I would be able to give an accurate quotation. Once the quotation is accepted, a down payment is needed to start researching the theme/subject. A colored draft would be furnished, which I believe is closer to the final commission than a black and white sketch. Note that the final murals are always better than the original draft.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My mural techniques are all self taught. I always experiment with new techniques and approach, so that the quality would improve for each project. I was under tutelage from a professional artist for 10 years when I was 7-17 years old. I am always looking into works of old masters, famous and emerging contemporary artists, so to evolve from within my current style.
