- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
my pricing is the same for all of my customers. I have a set price for sitting and a different set price for dog walking. I am negotiable though.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I speak with my customer first. I then set up an in person visit with the customer to meet not only the customer but the pets as well. I then discuss my schedule to make sure the customer is comfortable with my being away from the job site at different times of the day. If customer is comfortable I then discuss the picking up of key to the job site and any special duties like medicating and/ or care schedule for the pet. I always send a daily check in through text message to let owner know all is well. most of my customers pay in advance but I do accept payment at the end as well. whatever the customer is comfortable with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked in a no-kill shelter for several years now. I had prior training for two years in a vet's office. i am currently enrolled in a pet health and grooming class.
