FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I get to know my customer, first and foremost. Their desired aesthetic, how much they’re looking to spend, the materials they’d like to be used, and overall, their vision. If they don’t know what they want, I try to help prompt their vision by showing some of my previous work or highlighting bathroom / kitchen inspo.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started as a plumber 20 years ago, learning the ins and outs of the business. From there, I moved to construction, and then general contracting for residential and commercial clients. Upon moving to the US, I asked myself the following: “Why can’t our bathrooms and kitchens look like the interior of a hotel lobby? “Why is it not standard practice for bathrooms to have heated tile floors?” “Why can’t we live like the Greeks where the homes are made of concrete and the sidewalks are paved with marble?” And thus, Zakhariadis & Sons was born.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Dating back to when I lived and worked in Greece twenty years ago, I worked in home and business construction, starting from scratch as well as remodeling services. I have worked with retail, hospitality, and residential clients.
