DOGNACULAR, aka Tenacular Dogs, offers in-home dog boarding, dog training instruction and mentoring, and canine competitive sports information and mentoring. I also am available for freelance writing. I am willing to consider all types of writing, for individuals and organizations. I specialize in dog topics, particularly dog biographies. I am the Contributing Writer of Retriever News, and have been writing features for the magazine since 2008. I established Tenacular in 1983. My Dognacular business is an outgrowth of my hobby -- training and competing with my dogs. 'Tenacular' means spectacularly tenacious. It also refers to a Perfect 10 score. My house and office were destroyed in the Camp Fire in Paradise, CA on 11/18/18. Ninety-five percent of the town burned down. Accordingly, I have had to change how I live and how I do business. I currently am living in a motorhome. I am at my property in Paradise the majority of the year, and semi-nomadic during the remainder. If you are a prospective client, I prefer that you come to my property in Paradise for your initial session. This will save you money. If I come to you, I need to charge for my travel time and mileage. Please be aware that Thumbtack charges me a fee if I respond to your inquiry, whether or not you hire me. Along the way, I realized that many of my investigation clients needed more than just information, they needed help with what to do with that information. This led to the additional offering of communication counseling and dispute resolution services: mediation, arbitration, and negotiation.
