I am a Rider, Trainer, and Coach with over 20 years experience with horses, my passion lies in teaching Natural Horsemanship and providing Equine Assisted Activities for equine therapy, holistic coaching, and personal growth workshops. Certified Equine Specialist through the Pegasus ECT model, I am also a Certified Holistic Life Coach, RADT certified, and I hold up to date CPR and First Aid certificates.
My lessons are in groundwork, riding, and horse care. I also provide horse communication and personal growth workshops, and I provide therapeutic sessions to private individuals or treatment centers. All lessons and sessions are with my own re-purposed ex-racehorses, who I have personally retrained as teaching and therapy horses.
As a Coach/Equine Specialist for therapy, my technique is relaxed, non-judgmental, and positive. I am not here to tell you I have all the answers. I am here to help you find your strengths, discover possibilities, develop skills and coping mechanisms, and to assist you on the path to a happier healthier life.
As an Instructor, my goal is not just to help you become a better rider, but to help you become a better horseman. Through a variety of exercises and challenges, each lesson we will work to improve your technique, skill, confidence, understanding, and passion. Enjoyment and progress are the key objectives, whatever your starting point and end goals may be.
As a Trainer, I have extensive training in English and Western Riding, Groundwork, Colt Starting, Natural Horsemanship, and Horse Management. Hire me to receive international horsemanship, locally, to turn your horses into willing partners for teaching and therapy.
I love working with horses - I strive every day to improve my horsemanship, and to help others improve theirs. I enjoy teaching both horse riding and groundwork, and helping others develop their passion for horses and the sport of riding.
