Massage Therapy

Jovi is a very knowledgeable massage therapist. I knew exactly what modality of therapy I wanted (Active Release Technique, myofascial release and Trigger Point Therapy), and he is very well-versed in those. I am active and exercise a lot and do a good amount of foam rolling and self-studying and have had masseuses in the past, but his felt more like a welcomed PT session. He came on time, was very friendly, exercised COVID measures (wearing a mask, clean uniform, using clean sheets on his unusually comfortable massage table). He was also very friendly and didn’t mind me asking what new techniques he was employing, and how it would help. The best part - he also focused on my hands and arms, which no therapist ever had, and released a lot of painful tension in there. You get what you pay for and Jovi is worth it (and is reasonable given his expertise - not just a basic Thai massage or chair masseuse in a mall).

Massage Therapy

I have been receiving weekly therapeutic massages since an accident back in 2019. The massages helped my pain, but it always returned. I think now that that was more of a bandaid type of therapy, and I was still in so much pain. I decided let’s try holistic as far as the technique was able to relax all those areas for good, not just a week. So far, I’m liking his work, time will be the telling factor. I pray it work. Thank you Jovi for easing my pain.

Massage Therapy

Jovi is a fantastic massage therapist. I was really impressed by the various techniques he used, many of which were new to me and very effective. Wonderful deep tissue massage for sore, tight, or aching muscles.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

yes because there is flexibility within time and style of massage desired and accomplished.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

getting to know them, work and athletic history. I look for past traumas from accidents to repetitive strains from daily body positions and repetitive movements. then I seek to address the pain patterns of any, I detail which muscle groups are involved. Then once we have educated them, we explain the massage process. we begin with a warm up style massage to introduce the therapists touch then gradually build up pressure as we warm up the myofascia muscles and skin. once we complete our time within the session, I go into detail which muscles are in detriment and in need of more time. we look to set up a follow up if need be.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All day everyday. its called self study, self massage, reviewing our collective notes, videos, continuing reading from out our massage books.
