- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my most recent jobs was for a corporate real estate company. My client wanted to translate his market insights into easily-understood language for a wide reader audience. After sending him my first revised draft of his original manuscript, I was particularly proud of the feedback he gave me: he said that at such an early stage in the project, previous writers he had worked were at about 50% completion of where he foresaw the final product. After reading my first draft, he told me it was about 90% close to a final draft, and that the rest of the work we had to do was minor alterations and tweaking. After only a handful of days, he had a final draft in his hands that was exactly what he was looking for.
