- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Teaching is something that came naturally to me, even when I was very young. I've always possessed a strong aptitude for reading, speaking, and technology, which puts me in the unique position of being a capable learner and presenter. But rather than just presenting alone, I enjoy social interaction with others, constantly modifying what I know to help others.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I assist with English conversation, as well as reading, and writing, for high school and university-level English-as-a-second-language (ESL) students. I frequently help people get the most out of their Macs, iPhones, iPads, and iPods, and learn how they interact together, along with their existing technology and services, such as email.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Decide what you need to learn and what specific timeframe you want to learn it in. Do you want to learn WordPress in a week? Cram for an upcoming English test over a weekend? Have clear, specific goals so that we can figure out how much we need to accomplish every time we meet.
