Introduction: One thing that sets me apart from other solo guitarists is that I do all my own back up tracks. I play bass, drums and rhythm guitar onto the track and then play acoustic guitar live on top. This allows me to play any songs I want and make my own arrangements, instead of relying on pre-made tracks. I pride myself in being professional and reliable, and delivering the best quality music I can to my clients. Playing for people and seeing them appreciate the music I love. Since I started my solo career after getting custody of my boys, I've played all different kinds of venues, and seen all different kinds of people enjoy what I do enough to come up and say hi and engage with me is really gratifying.

Kenya and his band were amazing. We hired them to perform at our wedding on September 11, 2016. Kenya provided an acoustic guitar solo for our champagne reception and the rest of the band, accomanied by an incredible vocalist (Femi Andrades) joined him for the wedding reception. The music for the champagne reception was perfect and created just the right ambiance for an elegant yet romantic evening. The song choices for the reception provided the energy we were hoping for to get our guests on the dance floor. Our intent was to have the band perform a set and then have the DJ kick off the party vibe. HOWEVER, our guests were enjoying the band so much, that we just had them continue and only used the DJ to fill in for breaks. I would definitely recommend Kenya and the Kenya B Trio for your event. We could not have been happier! Kenya showed up before the designated start time to set up and prepare. He offered to start early should people come a little early to the event. The volume level of music was just right and didn't interfere with having a conversation with a guest. The music selection was lovely and everyone at the event was so impressed they all bought his CD's. I HIGHLY recommend Kenya. We will be seeing more of him at future events. =)
