I treat every project as I would in my own home. All of my work is performed to standards above local codes and I have always worked through excellent referrals.
You may notice that this profile does not show many "Hired" notations since
I have constant requests from long time repeat customers that are not in need of Thumbtack.
I have joined this site to consider occasional gaps in my schedule.
I have been building and engineering since I was very young and all of these things are fun for me.
I was the kid that all others would visit to have there bikes, skateboards, mopeds and cars fixed and back in operation. Then ,as I grew, it became homes and new structures as well as the kid stuff.
I started my Drywall business in 1984 and have also provided General Contracting for over 25 years.
I have worked on Leeds and Blue Palm Studios in Hollywood, custom work for John Depp at his home and Viper Room in Hollywood, INC in Benedict Canyon as well as others in the Entertainment industry.
Custom remodels in Marina Del Rey, South Pasadena, Brentwood, San Marino, Sierra Madre, Arcadia and Bradbury.
All high end custom work.

I recently purchased a 1950’s cabin in the high desert - lots of work, mostly cosmetic. Andrew removed 2 ancient air conditioners, installed a swamp cooler, patched holes in dry wall, adjusted screen and side doors, set exposed [stove] gas pipe into wall, installed backer board for tiled backsplash at sink…. the list goes on! My new project list grows as I type this review. I had a multitude of questions and Andrew was a wealth of knowledge and advice. As a new homeowner, I am very grateful for his suggestions and guidance.
Andrew is dedicated, reliable, and goes above and beyond every time. He is extremely hard working, very respectful of client’s budget, and maximizes every minute. He has great energy and a wonderful attitude on the job. He treats every project as if he was working on his own home and I have complete confidence in his work. If you are looking for a high-desert handyman – Joshua Tree, Pioneer town, Landers, Yucca Valley, 29 Palms, etc. – then I highly recommend Andrew.

It was a pleasure having Andrew at my home building our play set. He was prompt and clean with his work. I had several other maintenance issues that he was able to attend to as well. He has a full compliment of tools and knowledge. We are very pleased and will be calling him back with any needs in the future.

Andrew has helped me with several home projects and general handyman services, to include general plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, hanging of home decor, curtain rods, furniture building, etc. He is extremely professional, knowledgeable and has a much appreciated attention to detail. Andrew is also very trustworthy and worked on many of these projects while I was away from the home. Andrew always has a tactful approach to my ever growing "honeydo" list. Working with Andrew was a complete delight! He installed the cabinets efficiently and was even able to modify one of them to fit, since the manufacturer had sent the wrong size. He was also able to take care of a few other issues around the house and all at a reasonable price! Highly recommended!

What a joy to find Andrew Graper out here in the high desert! It turns out that I knew Andy. He did some work for me in another part of California almost thirty years ago. Actually, Andy is a lot more than a handyman. He has broad knowledge and experience with every aspect of home and commercial construction. But as a handyman, he's sort of special. On what I needed here (moving a well pump, installing a pool filter, converting a chicken house to a shop and getting my truck running) he was very clever in fixing some difficult problems, saved me money with some smart maintenance suggestions, was
careful with details, surprisingly fast, painfully honest and fun to work with. I would recommend him without reservation for any kind of job.
