Shakespeare wrote, "This above all,—to thine own self be true." In architecture, a project that is true to itself, stands out above the rest. Most buildings follow a traditional style, but each of these styles has a particular vocabulary. Most designers take a little here and a little there to come up with an eclectic design which appears wrong. Even in contemporary and avant-garde designs must only include what fits. Our plans, whether traditional or unique, strive to create and maintain elements that work together including spatial relationships, progression, and internal and exterior views because, after all, "all the world's a stage."
