- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I began my career in the field as a carpenter, building custom homes in Hawaii and Lake Tahoe. After a few winters of building in the cold and snow, I decided to return to school for a career in Architecture.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have completed many custom home projects for client base, however we also provide resort planning services and have completed the planning for a marina and golf course resort on the Sea of Cortez.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A lot of training and experience comes with an architectural license. Some clients wish to save money by hiring a draftsperson to draw their project, but this comes with many drawbacks and unfortunately the client pays in the long run with a mediocre design solution.
