Introduction: I take a very personal interest in your landscape and never forget it is your space, not mine. That means that I will is informed not only by how you want it to look, but how you use the space, who is going to maintain it, and how it will impact your neighbors.
I will create what you want, but be prepared to be informed about the impact of your landscape on the environment including water management, stormwater control, healthy soils, aquifer health and the health of the ocean (yes your garden can affect all these things).
I enjoy making beautiful practical spaces, and I love making the world a little better with each garden.

I have used Jane Davis' services several times in the past years to landscape my front yard. The most recent involved her planning a water wise landscape for the front yard, totally getting rid of the front lawn. I cannot say sufficiently good things about Jane and her work. I found her remarkably easy to work with. She developed plans that not only looked terrific but worked wonderfully well in reducing water usage. She is also very cost effective and was well worth every penny. My yard has gotten a LOT of compliments from neighbors and passers-by and has even spawned one or two copy cats.

I hired Jane to entirely redesign our garden and in particular to remove the lawn in the frontyard and put a water-friendly landscape. It was very easy to work with Jane. She has an impressive knowledge of plants and landscaping. She took the time to listen to our ideas before submitting her designs. She then helped us select a landscaper and she supervised the entire process. She was very hands on, always easy to reach. She knew how to reassure us when we were in doubt about all the changes. I am glad we listened to her, our new garden is beautiful and I really love it. I highly recommend her and I would definitely hire her again.

We had a large area to landscape Jane helped us with drawings, hard landscape and plants. We had our own people to do the physical work , but Jane directed them on where to place all the things we put in our yard a dry creek, olive trees, plants small bridge and new flagstone. We are very happy with Jane
