I’m a Licensed Architect in California (C40423), Texas (31136), and Florida (AR102976), with nearly a decade of experience in Architecture, Interior Design, and Landscape Design. I’ve worked as a Senior Designer and Project Manager at an award-winning Los Angeles firm and have guided projects from early concepts and zoning research all the way through permitting and construction. In addition to my professional work, I spent six years teaching Design Studios as an assistant teacher at SCI-Arc, which enriched my experience with new perspectives. I hired Ms. Khodadad (Magnolis Architecture) to design a 1,900 sq ft home with an art studio in Malibu, and I’ve been very happy with the whole experience. The final design feels thoughtful and well rooted in the site. The curved, canoe-like form, the connection to the landscape, and the sculptural interior all came together in a way that feels both creative and practical, and as an Organic Architecture aficionado I truly appreciate the result. It was a pleasant collaborative process. Ms. Khodadad listened closely, explored ideas with me, and made the experience feel easy rather than overwhelming. Everything was delivered on time, and the design phase budget was respected (no surprises or extra charges beyond what we initially agreed on).
