I try to make each of my customers comfortable around me. It's not easy for them to have a stranger in the house or around the outside. Also , I am always willing to help my customers, be it with the price, splitting up their payment, if that's what they need, painting extra, to make things match and offering in my contract to come back at anytime for a year to do touchups, due to accidents to the new paint job that I provided. I will do whatever I need to, to make the whole process a better experience. I would much rather come back myself to fix it than have the customer pay for it again . I like to provide a service that I can be proud of. . My goal is pretty clear. I want very happy and very satisfied customers, nothing else will do. That is the only way that my business will grow. Even if I don't make very much money. It's not always about the money, not for me. I am very happy that I hired Chris from Capitol One Painting to paint the outside of my house and my son’s house too. I was looking for someone that would do good quality work without costing me and my son a fortune. Chris was very eager to earn our business. He was very responsive in reaching out to me and setting up a consultation. He seemed to be a very honest and straight forward guy. He did not seem like a salesperson that just wanted my money. One thing I really appreciated was his communication. He always made sure to text when he was coming and leaving. He would keep me informed if he had to take off to pick something up or anything that might make me wonder where he went or if he was done or whatever. He made me feel I was in control every step of the way. This made me feel like he cared and valued me as his customer. He is very organized and tidy. He did a great job on my house and he is now in the process of doing my son’s house now. Thank you Chris!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As I said before. The money isn’t everything. I do what I need to, to make sure my customers are happy. I have not yet had a customer put off or upset with my pricing. I believe everyone deserves to have there home look beautiful even if they don’t have a large budget for painting. Also, I receive pretty good discounts from Sherwin-Williams, KellyMoore and Home Depot and I certainly let them know. I also can run the numbers a few different ways to get the customer their best price . Meaning by different paint qualities, giving them the prices from low grade paint to the highest grade . It all depends on the what the customer wants.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Realizing that they may not know to much about painting and for me to show them that I am HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY so they can be at ease and feel that they can trust me to give them the very best information that I can give them for the best results. My goal is to create not only very happy customers but RETURN customers with each and every one of them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have completed 3 years of school and hands on training through the painters Union. I then worked an additional 19 years for a well known painting company and have taken and passed my state testing receiving my C-33 license.
