That is because there is much more science to photography than making someone smile and pushing a button. Photography is the science of recording reflected light onto a specific media. A photographer has to know and understand this as well as know the art concepts, people, personalities, human and animal behavior, traditions in ceremonies, landscape and interior design. Having a lavish website or a great catch phrase, such as "capturing the moments of your life, etc." will not bring the client images that are worth paying hard-earned money for. If your doctor is just treating your sons scratched knee or your husband's heart, you want the best for your family. You should have it, and you should have it with any service you have to pay for.
