Do your checking for a good Garage Door repair Company but dont hire one until you talk to Doorcraft. I had offers from other Companies that wanted thousands of dollars to replace my 2 garage door openers. Then John at Doorcraft checked my doors and openers and said your doors wont operate because you have no light detectors ( those little lights on each bottom side of the doors) that stop the door if something is in the way. He played with the motors and said he should be able to get both openers working. He said the rollers on one door were bad which is why we had such a hard time trying to manually open them. The other companies never even mentioned this which would have increased there quotes of just new motors even more. I went with John at Doorcraft. He was amazing! He added the light sensors to both doors and changed the rollers on 1 door. He got me a garage door opener. He told me the second motor wasnt working to program it to the opener Then he said no worries I have one a manual one at home I will install it on the door that wouldnt program to the remote. He had to come back and do this which he did quickly. He only charged me $400 for everything. Now both doors operate smoothly!!! Incredible. I thought I couldnt afford to get them fixed before. John saved me thousands of dollars. If you found him online and think he is too far away no worries he services all of San Diego without a trip charge. He will honestly check out your problem and trouble shoot it giving you your best options to fix it. He will not up charge you or try to fix something that is not really broken. He is a genius with garage doors. You can trust him. He is very easy and fun to talk too also. Be sure and have him check your problem before hiring anyone else. He will save you so much money with great quality work!!
