Michael and his son did an amazing job and stayed well within our budget. More than that, he understood and realized our vision in a way that was always thoughtful and playful and never once tried to talk us into an alternative to make his life easier, instead he would remind me that a window doesn't always have to be centered, in fact it has more character when it is not. And he was so right, we love how our window fits into the design. He gave me the kitchen window sill I have always wanted. We were so impressed with his work at a friends home that we never even considered using anyone else. His process is clear and talked out every step of the way. We ended up with a kitchen that was so transformed that when a guest walks into our 900 square foot condo they immediately walk towards the kitchen and start touching the backsplash and counter. I work from home and am always coming and going (mostly going) and Michael would often be there when I got home with another accomplishment, sitting on the couch admiring his work and all the while keeping my dog Sierra company, even taking her outside so she could do her numbers (#1 & 2 that is). She would get so excited when he would come over to work. We liked what he did so much that we had him continue on to the bathroom, which is equally beautiful and playful. We LOVE IT!! His ideas were fresh and imaginative and although cutting penny circles (all day) of ceramic tile may have drove him nuts, the end result was more beautiful than I could have imagined. Sierra misses him and wishes he would come to visit and sit on her deck to watch the sunset and maybe cook some shrimp on the barbeque. Thank you Michael - you're an artist and it is obvious that you love what you do, we are so glad we found you. Lil, Stephen & Sierra
