FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I price my work very fair. I hold myself to a very high standard and feel the quality of my work, and the experience that you have reflects that. Once a price is quoted, I will never change the price if something becomes more difficult and take more time unless there are extenuating circumstances beyond anyone’s control. This would include underlying problems with the construction of a home, previous work not being up to code or safe, or existing hardware malfunctioning.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Depending on the project work flows may very, but for the most part it’s a fairly simple process. There is usually a consult of some sort either over the phone or in person. From there pricing and a scope of work is established and when approved the work is performed on the scheduled date. After the project is completed and all punch list items addressed a tutorial is performed and an opportunity for notes or questions are after. I warrant all work performed by me for 90 days and offer a low cost to reinstall hardware should anything ever get upgraded or swapped out.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have hands on field training and experience for almost 2 decades. I have come up against almost all manners of construction and have a great sense of when a project is capable of being completed, or if I will be in over my head. I keep up with the latest technology advancements so that I can make the best possible technology and product recommendations when needed, and genuinely enjoy this world. One thing that I stand by, is that when you are going into peoples homes, it needs to be taken seriously.
