We had a wonderful experience using Perry Brian as our officiant. He brought laughter and tears to our wedding. We were so happy we chose him out if the several that approached us. He's laid back and down to earth and you won't regret picking him.

This was a very disappointing experience. I don’t easily write negative reviews but I have to warn people. My husband & I are true Christians & we wanted to find a pastor for our wedding. We tried Perry but quickly realized his policies were the opposite of fair. His contract calls for us to send half of $100 ($50) as a deposit payment & meanwhile he sent us a deposit payment request of $125. We sent $150 by mistake & he didn’t send back the extra $ we sent even after we asked multiple times which was very greedy & dishonest. Additionally, we had no choice but to postpone & pick a different date for our wedding due to other reasons & we immediately told him OVER a WEEK before the date we planned, 9 days exactly! But he said he has a “very strict cancellation/postponing policy” of 14 days & didn’t return any of the money we sent. It’s clear he cares more about money than doing the right thing. We had to do the same cancellation with our photographer & she returned ALL of our money courteously & as Christ would’ve, including the deposit. We had to report the issue to thumbtack to get justice, at which point he still sent us LESS than what was fair, only $50 total & held onto the other $100 we sent. Before we could even get that, he sent a TON of messages back & forth arguing with us & pushing our buttons it was very frustrating. He claims the “contract” is more important than good conduct & tried to say it was our fault because of that. It was very disappointing to see how he isn’t treating others the way he wants to be treated which is the mark of a true Christian. Thumbtack ended up stepping in & giving us a FULL refund but it came from their end so he still is holding onto money unfairly. Don’t even bother believing him if he responds to this review bc he can be very cunning. We have to warn people

Perry helped us write our vows and they were perfect for what we wanted to say. He’s pretty laid back and helped me relax about all of the details I didn’t think I’d get done. The service was just the right amount of time. Jason and I were just watching the video of the service and it reinforced how happy we were to go with Perry.

Marriage Services If you have vows or readings that you wish to use, that’s great! If you don’t, I would be happy to provide an array of samples and suggestions and together we can select what you and your spouse like best. I have standard readings that I use when couples don’t have any particular requests, and everyone has been very happy with them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Get to know their story; How did they meet, favorite memories together, favorite song, poems, books, etc.. what was the initial impression of each other.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
About Me: I have been active in Christian Ministry for more than 30 years. I grew up in the Palm Springs area of California and am now living here again after being in the Central California for 22 years. I enjoy the people and the laid-back lifestyle that is part of the way of life here. My services tend to be less formal, and I like to meet with the bride and groom either in person or in an online meeting prior to each wedding I perform to get an idea of their journey and story together. I have been married for 33 years and have three grown boys residing in Rancho Mirage, CA.
