What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our service call and professional diagnostic fee is $65. If the customer approves the recommended repair, the $65 is applied toward the repair cost. After diagnosing the appliance, we explain the cause of the problem and provide a clear estimate before beginning the repair. Final pricing depends on the type of appliance, required parts, accessibility, and complexity of the work. Applicable warranty terms are clearly stated on the estimate and final invoice.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by collecting the appliance type, brand, model number, and a description of the problem. A technician then performs an on-site diagnostic inspection, identifies the cause of the failure, and explains the available repair options. The customer receives an estimate before any repair work begins. If parts must be ordered, they typically arrive within 2–4 business days. After completing the repair, we fully test the appliance to confirm proper and safe operation.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Marshall Appliance Repair is a California-registered Appliance Service Dealer (Registration A51062) and is fully insured. Our technical training and experience cover electrical diagnostics, refrigeration and sealed systems, gas appliances, electronic control boards, and premium residential and commercial equipment. We regularly study manufacturer service information, wiring diagrams, diagnostic procedures, and product updates.
