- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was raised in rural town called Rescue. We were surrounded by cattle ranches and horses. We had dogs and cats. My parents leased our ground to neighbors with the cattle and horses. I immediately was drawn to horses...even after getting bucked off at 5 years old! So... I ended up riding many of the neighbors and friends horses and bringing many a stray dog or cat home! I have continued throughout my adulthood, both personally and professionally, working or having in some capacity horses, cattle, dogs or cats in my life. Currently, I live on my ranch, with my Corgi, two horses, and barn cats!
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I have been watching a large dog for 4 months in my home. She was apprehensive and missing her people the first week or two but now she finds a toy in the dog toy box and plays and is doing just great!
