I am selective on which opportunities we take on to perform or choreograph, and only take projects that I connect with. I do this because I love it! I'm happy to refer you to other professionals in our network if I see it's in your best interest!
Many of my students have often told me I have a way of making them feel comfortable and love my teaching style.
I love the challenge of meeting someone new and finding their learning style. The best feeling is when it clicks for someone or they can see everything come together!
Sometimes its hard to trust a vision you can't see, but I love guiding you along the way. Its always worth it :)

Finding Roxanne has been nothing short of a Godsend. She is an amazing dance teacher and person. From the get go, demonstrated great concern for where I was coming from in terms of my learning goals, my stregnths, as well as challenge areas. Roxanne is deeply passionate about dancing and dance culture and is always enthusuastic about sharing not only her depth of technique but also knowledge about music and dance history, and is well-connected with the greater dancing community in large regions of Southern Califirnia. She is ever challenging me to participate and offering opportunities to practice in a supportive peer to peer environment. I really enjoy class with her because its a great balance of a learning challenge, and just good fun. Great sense of humor, keen eye to detect where I am getting stuck, and consistency in terms of teaching approach, curriculum, syllabus, pace. Highly professional but also very personalized. I highly recommend you consider Roxanne for any level dance tutoring, couples, group class, or entertainment for special events. You'll be glad you did.

This class was amazing and Roxanne was fantastic. She immediately connected with both my wife and I. She also went out of her way to ensure this was a special lesson since she knew it was for our anniversary. She picked the song we danced to at our wedding to add that extra touch to this lesson. For someone like myself that has zero dancing experience, she made it very fun and easy to follow. We definitely would recommend her to anyone and everyone with different levels of dancing experience and we will definitely be using her again.

If we could give more stars we would. This was the most fun that we have had in a long time. Roxx Anna was professional, on time, and super fun. Her lessons, which involved coordinating the first dance at our wedding, gave us the confidence to rock the dance, and our guests LOVED it. We would hire her again in a second, and you should too!

In a word, AWESOME! Roxanna has taught me so much! From body movement to placement of my feet to learning how to feel the music. She's an amazing person and very patient. She can be silly with you or technical. She is a strong lead, easy to understand, breaks everything down and is very encouraging. In a nutshell, she's a little bit of everything with a splash of spice. ;) I love Roxx and would highly recommend her to anyone wanting to learn to dance, but at the same time have fun. And if you are a woman looking to feel more confident in your movements, she's your girl! Roxx will have you moving like a sexy vixen in no time. :)
