FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is often difficult to provide a quote without knowing the full details of a client's situation and needs. I strongly encourage all prospective clients to just pick up the phone and call my office to schedule a telephonic or in-person meeting with me. All initial consultations are FREE. It is easier for me to get an idea of the prospective client's situation and understand what his/her needs or desired results are and provide my honest opinion on the best course of action to take. Then I hope to be retained by the client, of course [smiles]. The client really has nothing to lose by calling, yet gain free professional advice.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely! I am constantly reading case law and updates.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is understandable that affordability plays an important role in a client's consideration process when they shop for attorneys, however, lower fees do not always result in desirable outcomes. In other words, it is almost always true that "you get what you pay for." I always tell my clients and prospective clients that it is more important to find an attorney who cares about his/her cases. Someone who is not only capable, but also able to provide his/her personalized focus and attention to the client's case. Prospective clients just have to pick up the phone and call and/or meet with their prospective attorneys to get a personal feel for what the attorney can offer or be of assistance to them. It is the only best way to find the right fit.
