An amazing attorney! I am 100% satisfied. He helped get my case dismissed with no hassles, and didn't overcharge me.Oct 20, 2016
"Ari is straight-up, honest, and very easy to talk to. He's the kind of guy you feel confident having with you in court, and also someone you want to get a beer with when it's over. The most important is that he cared about my case and worked hard to resolve it. I hired him because he used to be a DA and I'm very happy I did. He took the time and explained everything to me really clearly. And for my DUI where i had well over the limit, he got me a wet reckless, no jail and minimum classes and fines. I was lucky. If I ever get in trouble again, definitely calling Ari!Jul 23, 2016
License Type: Attorney (CA)
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My retainer fee for most misdemeanors starts at $2900 (felonies are case-by-case), but each case is unique with unique challenges; thus, a final estimate requires a phone consultation. Payment plans are available where client pays $1500 upfront. And I accept all major credit cards.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? In general, most clients prefer to have their initial consultation over the phone because it's the most convenient. Also, because of my very busy court schedule, I can typically arrange a phone consultation sooner than an office visit. However, I offer office consultations as well and allow my clients to choose. During my free initial consultation, we would discuss your case and I'd do my best to answer all your questions. Most initial consults last about 20 minutes. But don't worry; I won't kick you off the phone if you have further questions beyond 20 minutes. If, after our consultation, you decide you're interested in retaining me, I email you an engagement letter (fee contract), which outlines the terms of my representation. My contract is electronic, meaning clients sign electronically right on their computer, tablet, or smartphone. Once the fee agreement is signed, I email an invoice where you click on a link to enter your credit card or checking account information. Some clients like to be heavily involved throughout their case; others prefer to be contacted only as necessary. I'm happy either way. Of course, if I need to conduct further interviews with you about specifics, I'll arrange for us to meet. Ultimately, the majority of my clients' cases resolve without the need for them to even go to court. However, some cases require more client involvement than others. And some require fighting all the way to a jury trial. In those cases, I work extensively with clients to prepare them for trial. For example, if I believe your case would benefit from you taking the stand and testifying, before trial, we'd role play and I'd cross-examine you like a prosecutor so that way you'd feel as prepared and comfortable as possible before stepping foot into a courtroom.
