Introduction: We teach 45 minute private lessons on well trained Warmbloods. Most of our horses have shown or schooled through 3rd level Dressage and 1.10m Show Jumping. We offer 1/2 leases and the opportunity to show for our more advanced students.
New students learn how to groom and prepare their horse for a ride as well as horsemanship.
I enjoy helping riders improve their riding position and helping my students achieve their goals. I am a patient teacher and I work hard to bring out the best in my students and horses.

We have a few lessons for 8 and 10 yrs old boys with Nessa Coss. Not only my kids didn't have any experience with horses before but also they didn't deal much with animals in general, because we don't have any pets. I was impressed how fast they felt comfortable around horses and how much they learned for just 5 lessons: from grooming to trotting. Nessa is a knowlegable instructor, who is also very friendly, patient, reassuring and encouraging. As a parent, I liked very much that her program includes not only teaching riding skills but also understanding, caring and being responsible for the animals. We definitely will continue to work with Nessa and highly recomend her to others.
Also, the Gypress Ridge itself seems like a nice, quiet and well organized place, with a covered and an open arenas and trails for riders of different skills.

Just had my first lesson with Nessa. I shared some of my goals with Nessa -- that I was interested in show jumping (eventually), and she was so encouraging despite my obvious amateur skill-level. Nessa was extremely adept at giving direction as well as corrections. The lesson was both mentally and physically challenging in the best ways. I felt a genuine connection to both Nessa and Spiffy (the horse). The lesson was very structured and I am thrilled to have finally found a great place to ride. Nessa is clearly a phenomenal teacher and I am excited to be training with her.

Nessa is a patient and wonderful coach, and she very knowledgeable about horse riding. As a working professional, flexible sessions made it convenient for me and also a dream come true. I can now enjoy this rewarding activity while traveling abroad and a good coach makes a difference. I'm very proud to have learned proper horse riding from her.

This is a great place to learn to ride. Nessa is an awesome instructor who is very personal and will adjust her teaching style based on the person she is teaching. She's nonjudgmental about mistakes and is flexible. I learned more in my first lesson with her than the past 40 times I'd ridden horses. The horses are well taken care of here, and the facilities are excellent. Highly recommend!

Nessa is very responsive and exceptionally good with young riders. She continuously provides verbal feedback and creates confidence. Good horses too, great for young kids
