I recently became a Dog Trainer but have loved dogs my whole life. Being a Personal Trainer in the Fitness Industry and running my own gym for the past 20 years has given me the unique ability to work with people on behavior modification. I am proud to bring those techniques to the dog training industry to help pet parents build a relationship with their pets built on trust, respect and love.

We boarded our two 18 month old pups Derf and Nala with DogFitLA for 10 days and we are absolutely amazed with the results. This was the first time we ever boarded our dogs and we were worried how they would respond. During their stay there Joe took great care of them, worked with them every day for several hours and sent us video and photo updates of them training and playing. This made us feel very comfortable that our pups were being well taken care of. Prior to arriving at his place, our dogs were quite hyper, anxious and not very good listeners. With only this short time training, both Derf and Nala learned how to follow commands, stay in place, walk and are starting to warm up to other dogs. Joe gave us a lot of advice on how to continue training our dogs and we were able to pick up their training where he left off. Furthermore, Joe was very detailed in his analysis of our dogs, their behavior and personalities and continues to answer our questions even after their time at his place.
Overall, we have had a great experience at DogFitLA and I would highly recommend them and Joe to anyone looking to board or train their dogs.

I am beyond pleased and happy with Joe's work with my puppy. I went from having a dog that I could not even approach without being bitten relentlessly to having a loving little companion. The biting was so bad that I was on the verge of considering rehoming my dog, even as a lifelong dog owner, and felt out of options until Joe stepped in and helped me see how I could rebuild my relationship with my dog. My dog emerged from Joe's board and train program with new confidence and good behaviors, and Joe has taught me how I can maintain her new positive traits by myself at home. Well after the board and train program, he continues to be quickly responsive to any questions I have from how to tackle issues with my dog to training new commands. Joe truly saved my relationship with my dog and I am eternally grateful for all he's done for both of us.

Joe is the best there is! He treats your pet as if they were his own. One of the main reasons I picked his Board & Train program over the thousand others in Los Angeles. He would send me almost daily updates on my Sasha and would always be available when I reached out for questions. Sasha came back to us after the B&T so much different. She is less reactive to dogs on walks and is more respective of boundaries in our home. I will continue to take any future dog I may adopt to Dog Fit La & will always recommend to other dog parents!

Joe is an incredible trainer and has been a lifesaver. He has helped work through all of my dogs issues when no one else had been able to. He is extremely responsive and truly cares.
