Plan your project as well as you can. Edit, correct and proofread all copy and text beforehand. Have as close of an idea as possible to what the end product should be. The more you know about the different images you want to use and their order, the easier it is for an editor to give you precisely what you want. Try to ensure that you have all the materials you need when you come to your edit session. have clear notes or understanding of any materials you need to have your editor create. Choose your fonts and colors, etc, beforehand as well. you don't want to spend expensive editing time doing mundane things or experimenting. The more prepared, clear and organized you are, the better any editor will serve you.
