I hired the Groovy Judy Band for my wedding and was thoroughly impressed by their professionalism, musicianship and choice of songs. They really kept the pace going and everyone - Millennials through Boomers - were dancing and had a great time. I highly recommend Groovy Judy for any event. :-)

Judy recently played at my son’s first birthday party.
Her performance was such a fun time - it truly made the party! Everyone went out of their way to tell me how much fun they had and how Judy elevated things. She had a great list of songs from the Beatles, to Joni Mitchell, to the Lumineers. She even learned three of my son’s favorite songs to play just for him.
Working with Judy was incredibly easy.
She responded to my inquiry immediately and followed up via text to schedule a phone call. She broke down everything I needed to know on the first call and was very diligent about following up. The contract process and payment was incredibly seamless and convenient.

I’ve had great experience with Judy!
I have been teaching myself how to play for about a year before I a plateau in my skill, so I sought out her services here in Thumbtack. She has given me a more clear sense of direction as to what to practice next, which has helped me improve very quickly. I continue to take lessons with Judy every 2 weeks, and plan to do so indefinitely. Moreover, though she’s chill and easygoing during the lessons, you can see how hard she rocks if you catch her at one of her gigs!

I’ve been performing around the Greater San Francisco Bay Area for over 30 years at Summer Concerts, Festivals, Fairs, weddings, birthday parties, nightclubs, restaurants, churches and cafes. I perform solo, as a duet, trio, quartet or a quintet.
