    Concrete pillar foundation
John mismeasured my project rendering it unusable. Only 1/4 of each concrete pillar will be beneath the shed to support it's weight. The rest of the pillar will be sticking out from underneath the shed. I called him, and he said (twice), "I was expecting this call." He came back out and said it would work and if I wanted him to change it I have to pay him more. Pure common sense will tell anyone otherwise. The whole point of the foundation is to SUPPORT the structure. I also asked him to face the foundation a certain way but he said it would be better facing a different direction. The shed contractor said we shouldn't build it the way John said due to the slope it was built on. John became rude and unprofessional with me and I told him to leave. Now I must find someone else to redo the job.

This storage shed is planned on a sloped area. Customer agreed to the position! Why would I do otherwise? Customer didn't provide any details or schematics. I had to research for her. I discussed with her the option that I installed, (Customer agreed), positioning the door towards the hill to facilitate entry and exit vs (key)👉🏼needing to spend more money on long ramp from an elevated entry.(Customer agreed) I did exactly what we agreed on and, I gave her a large break in price! The foundation will support the floor framework adequately! the installer confirmed that with me personally on the customers phone. Shelly said to me in person "these columns aren't going anywhere, they're built well" when I came back to her house to help fix things for her, expecting minor adjustments. Just to find out she wants me to change the position 90 deg. She let me know I'm like all the rest of the contractors that have screwed her. I provided a robust foundation for my clients storage shed so my customer wouldn't have issues in the future, as we agreed. I'm not going back on what we agreed on! J.

    Unreliable
Scheduled an estimate with John and he came to my house to review the project. Took measurements and roughly sketched his idea. After one week, no estimate. Called him, said he was busy and would get my estimate out within the week. Never heard back from him.

I'm sorry I sent your shower and window quote on the 6th of February. Looks like I did get Julie's email address wrong I found out. My mistake. I'm sorry to hear you have a roof leak now, let me know If you like the estimate now that you have it please. I look forward to working with you when you're ready.

    Awesome contractor
John is the perfect example of a hard working professional contractor. he takes longer only because he does all the work himself. He takes pride in his work and it shows , he is very thorough. We found some dry rot and he gave us a quote but once we got into it it was worse than we thought. We had to renegotiate the price, most contractors would see that as an opportunity to gouge someone, John did not and his pricing I thought was very fair. He shows up on time every day and works like a machine all day. I will continue to use john on all my home projects

    job went well
He gave us a bid, Did the work and cleaned up. Everything went well. He doennt have business cards and the bid was an online estimate that we firmed up verbally.. no information regarding insured etc but he showed me his contractors license he carried in his wallet. He has no record with the BBB.. but my job was small, he did good work and did what he said he was going to do. I am completely happy with how it went.
