In general the experience of the gutter cleaning was fairly good. My main disappointment was they were not able to negotiate a better price for doing the windows. The window areas were very clean as I had just had my house painted 2 weeks ago. It is one story tall and has easily removable screens. At $8.00 a pane it would have been about $250. For a very small bungalow it was too much. Apparently the owner is very rigid on this policy.

Hi Shanna, I'm the owner and I do allow my guys the flexibility with pricing as I pay on percentage basis. I too am surprised that they wouldn't cut you a break based on what you wrote. I will look into it. Thank you, David Hurwitz

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For window cleaning.... Most windows have 2 panes in them (one that slides and one that stays put), we charge $8 per panes to wash the windows inside and out, scrub and vacuum the tracks, wipe down the frames and sills and wash the screens. For Solar panels Generally $5 per panel roof mount, $4 per ground mount. Gutter cleaning and most other services at $80/85 per man hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally a phone call starts with info on pricing and any special needs ie. heights, water stains etc... From there an appointment for free estimate or work is scheduled.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cleaning windows for over 38 years. I have taken High rise courses in Ontario Canada, Safety training courses at conventions, Certified aerial lift operator, special training in glass scratch removal from the experts.
