- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Mobile Service Fee starts at $25. Standard rate per signature notartized in California is $15. Currently, I offer a discount of $5 off each signature after the first. I am also waiving the Mobile Service Fee for all appointments in the Rosamond/Mojave areas. Contact me so I can make sure you have an accurate estimate.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First and foremost I will confirm who is signing the documents and make sure that they have valid identification. After all necessary ID’s are checked, I record the documents and Signer’s in a State logbook. After everything is logged, the documents are signed and sealed with an official Seal.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been Commissioned and bonded as a California Notary Public since 2012. California requires all notaries take training to be able to properly identify documents that can identify an individual in a legal capacity, and how to identify possible fraud or abuse. Aside from the training required by California, I continue to train and study to keep up-to-date on issues such as identity theft. I also complete a yearly certification to stay compliant with loan documents and regulations.
