John's Home Care
About this pro
John & Karla were amazing. I hired him to fix a screen door. He did an excellent job and fixed some other things around the house. Karla washed our windows and they looked the best they have looked in 10 years. Great price, friendly, great quality. I am so happy I found them!May 8, 2018Verified
I'm a single mother as well as an accountant. Value goes hand in hand with cost as far as where I'll spend my money and John was wonderful. John and Karla arrived on time, walked me through the drywall repair work I requested in detail, and the timeline to finish it. Im a stickler for very fine drywall texture and the finished work was beautiful. They were friendly decent people. Very professional and impeccable work. I'd hire them again and recommend them for drywall repair.Dec 17, 2017Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Carpentry and Handyman services, whether it be a bid or hourly, the rate should normally be priced at $60 Per Hour. *Note, so pricing is fair and because we work fast, jobs that take 2 hours or less could be priced at the value of the project instead so be sure to ask. We provide discounts to our clients on materials whenever materials are discounted to us. We pass on savings to you in any way we can with receipts because you deserve them.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?A smart client wants quality first and we are in business for this reason only! Competent, Trustworthy and Knowledge Integrity. Our company is in the Top 3% in all of the services here on Thumbtack because we give every client 5 Star attention.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We have more than 20 years of wide ranging hands-on experience in general Construction, Finish Carpentry and all Handyman fields. 10 years working as a Field Carpenter and Builder for Construction Companies. Before John began in professional construction he was a professional Machinist working with many types of raw materials, product manufacturing and design. This is a big plus when it comes to truly understanding How and Why things we work with everyday are made the way they are and what they are actually made of.
