Introduction: How are you doing in this Covid time? I am doing remote lessons currently, and can’t offer a hybrid, and hopefully in studio soon. You will be getting my long history of successful training. Several programs that I’ve created to motivate in different ways for different types of learners. Skills : Teaching students how to write their own music; Successful performance; To simply enjoy music for your own experience. I have Master Classes quarterly that enhance and expand a students involvement, performance experiences and creates a unified school of music as students share their talents with their peers. I love watching a student 'get it'. That moment when after long (or short!) lessons on a subject, they light up and actually understand the principle and are able to repeat it consistently. I love getting to know them and working with them with a little bit of my life-coaching practice tossed in to accentuate the learning.

Wonderful teacher! Experienced and fun, she helps where ever your student needs help by meeting them where they are. I have seen great improvement in my own voice and music theory. Would definitely recommend.

Marsha was one of my dance students back in So. San Francisco in the 60's and 70's. After moving to Rocklin, we lost touch until I needed a singing lesson for an upcoming audition. Low and behold I found her on the internet without even knowing who she was...during my first lesson, we talked about dance and discovered that I was her first dance teacher...and now she is my voice teacher...It's a small world and a good one at that....good having you in my life again...Best of Luck to you

My son has taken lessons with Mrs. Keller for over six months now. I have really noticed a boost in his self esteem! She takes the time with him and encourages him. I don't know that his singing will be his life, however I know it is his joy.

I have not personally been taught by Marsha but that does not mean I have not seen her in action. She is very much talented and cared about her students. Growing up being friends with her daughter she was always there to help guide and teach all of the kids that walked into her life. If you want someone who cares and can teach and really help you learn she is the go to teacher.

I've been working with Marsha for many, many years and my experience is always a good one. She is very skilled and talented, and I love her philosophies of teaching as well. She doesn't *just* teach my daughter the notes, she helps her *learn* and learn to think. She helps her set goals and be intrinsically motivated to play. I am very grateful for her expertise and willingness to share her knowledge with us.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I give discounts for multiple students in a family. Also if you pay the whole semester tuition at once, you get two lessons free.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I adore that 'light bulb' moment when a student realizes their potential and changed from enjoyment to passion.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I teach voice lessons with my own syllabus and style, an emphasis on the student's vocal choices, challenges and talents. I teach piano for beginners through late intermediate. I have master classes for all students to join together and meet one another, play for one another and to enjoy games, refreshments and learning about other musical emphasis that there is no time for in a usual 30 minute lesson. I have recitals in the fall or spring as well as perform at the Granite bay Nativity exhibit yearly.
