I was very happy with the siding repair project by Calisiding. The team was great, Ivan explained the initial scope of work and the process for identifying and approving additional scope (more boards needing repair or stuff under the boards). Due to the additional scope I requested the initial price increased as the crew needed to work an extra day. I would recommend them and would use them again, when needed.

I can’t emphasize enough how wonderful the Cali Siding business is. As my new windows were being installed , it was discovered that the middle bedroom window had severe dry rot/water damage under the window. The window company we used does not deal with repair of this type of damage. The new window could not be installed properly unless this rot was repaired first. I was in a panic to try to find someone to repair this as soon as possible, as the installation of the window depended on that being repaired first. I checked Thumbtack., and read the great reviews on Cali Siding. I contacted them, and received a response quickly from Aleksandr, the owner . He said he would come out the next day to check it. He lives in Roseville and I am in Newark, which is a long way to come. Aleksandr came right on time, evaluated the wood rot, plus the other areas of siding that needed to be repaired . When I had initially contacted him, he informed me that it may be three weeks before he could do our job . However, thankfully, after assessing the situation, Aleksandr was able to squeeze us in the very next day to take care of the dry rot , the worst damage. He was so considerate to acknowledge that our new window installation depended upon that area being repaired. He also was able to work his schedule to accommodate the rest of our siding repairs the day after. So, within my initial contact with Aleksandr, all the work was completed in two days! I was so extremely impressed and grateful to Aleksandr and all his crew, who were each such hard working individuals, punctual, polite, efficient and skilled in their work.

We recently hired Cali Siding for wood rot repair and painting, and I was impressed with the experience. Their quote was very competitive, but what stood out was the clarity as it included photos and a very clear breakout of the scope so there were no surprises.Communication was excellent throughout the process, and the crew was punctual and delivered high-quality work. They really went the extra mile, too; they replaced three of my Christmas light hooks on the trim and even swapped out a few damaged boards that weren't in the original scope at no extra charge when they found them.My only small nitpick is that the deck furniture wasn't moved back into place after they finished, and a few large pots were moved off their small feet on the deck. However, given the quality of the work and the value provided, this was a minor detail. I would recommend them and use them again if needed in the future.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial phone call or text we figure out what the customer is looking for and make sure we offer this service. Then depending on the job type we either give an online estimate or we schedule a in person estimate with a professional. After this our representative meets with the customer to gather information about the job to prepare an estimate. Once the estimate is complete usually estimates are sent out same day. Then customer looks over our estimate compares it to others ask us questions. Once the contract is signed we then schedule the work.
