- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm constantly reading (daily) because this industry is always changing, and each channel updates almost weekly.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Any author needs to develop a marketing plan, and social media is a natural part of that. As someone with marketing and sales experience, it all came very naturally to me, so putting together plans and executing them successfully worked well, and my three books all became #1 bestsellers on Amazon. Eventually, people asked me to write articles and work directly with them to help them so I decided to start my own business in 2011. I've loved every minute!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Well, every project is different and I customize my services for each one. The keywords and content are extremely varied. That said, the medium (social media) is the same. It's a matter of working with that client and either doing the social media for them or training them. I also do webinars for publishing houses as well as small author group sessions and coaching.
