FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing system varies from event to event. It mainly has to do with duration, location, and special requests meaning if a client wants a solo or duo guitar with a full sound system opposed to maybe adding in two locations...for example a ceremony and reception required two sounds systems or maybe they want violin and cello in one location and guitars in another. Typically more gear and more musicians will require a higher paid event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First thing is finding exactly what a client is looking for. I'll be the first to admit that not every job is necessarily the right one for you. The last thing I would want to do is sell myself knowing that there is a more qualified person for a particular event, however if I meet the requirements of what someone needs then the process is very easy and smooth.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended a performing arts academy in my high school days and from there, went on to pursue a career in music and performance. In 2008, I won an award from Sacramento Magazine as the next best thing in the music and arts category. I am self taught musician of 15 years and have been teaching guitar, piano, and drum lessons for a number of years. I've been playing music as profession for 8 years now.
